You know, I'm the same way. I've had fics that have gotten absolutely no reviews at all. It's so frustrating when you do see all the reviews for those stories with no honorable content whatsoever, though one consolation is knowing that almost every review is of the "this rockz! more chapters pleeeezzz! r/j 4eva!" kind.

It's hard to rise above and not expect reviews but you just have to keep hoping for a change. Eventually the "4eva!" 'shippers will grow up, y'know?

lol I feel like a kindred spirit, what with you mentioning feeling too old for fanfiction.net, not being fourteen anymore, because it's a realization I've come to as well. I'm no longer going to have any special respect from some readers in fandoms just because of my age. Now I'll be just one of the rest.

And it sucks. Doesn't it?
