It has been so much fun. I had seen some of the old old episodes on late night PBS, so I knew it was cheesy, but I wasn't expecting the depth and the angst, such as the Doctor being the last of his species and the decisions he has to make about sacrificing people or species for the greater good. Made me think. Wasn't expecting that.

I started with the second season because I had heard the most about it, and because those were the episodes most easily obtained on YouTube. But I've watched "Rose" now, and really am intrigued by the differences in the two Docs and plan on watching them all now.

Ruby in the Smoke is on PBS. My tv is in the basement, where not even bunny ears work. So all I get is fuzz. :) Getting PBS would require getting some kind of basic cable.
